My Creative Time Challenge

I'm so excited, this is my first Halloween card. I didn't get my Cricut until last Christmas so this will be my first year for HOLIDAY cards...Yeah!!!!!  I made this card for the challenge over at http://MyCreativeTime.blogspot.com. The challenge is to make a card using the colors purple, green, black and orange and you cannot use your Cricut... This is what I came up with...

Here is the items used for this card:
Divine Swirls embossing folder, for black cardstock
Cardstock from Recollections and Colorbok
Fake spider web
Spider (I found him at the thrift store) COOL...
Chipboard sticker (Bought it last year for a quarter at Wal-mart
Natural twine, from my stash

I like the way it turned out, especially since my wonderful husband came up with the idea to use the spider web and the spider. Thanks babe! Hope all of you have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by to visit...

EEEEK! A SPIDER!!! :) LOL! Seriously, although I'm not a spider fan, THIS is adorable. Way to not use your Cricut and come up with something so fabulous. Awesome job.

Dawn: I love that everyone (including you) are posting Autumnt/Halloween creations. It's getting me in the mood for Fall. I love this card and the deep, rich colors you used. I hope you will visit my blog. I started a cool give-away today of an antique floral frog for displaying cards. It's the first post from today (so if you visit, scroll down to my first blog post for today 9/12). I would LOVE to have you visit, and I will be back here to visit you again as well.
Blessings,
Karen
