Time for Christmas Cards!
Hi everyone! This last Wednesday and Thursday (my days off) my mom and I got together and started making our Christmas cards. What a great time we had! We played, designed, had hot tea, cookies and listened to Christmas music. This is one of the cards we made. I love it and so did mom. My 73 year old mother is by far my best friend, my confidant, my mentor and the best mom ever... I love you mom.
Here is a list of what we used.
Paper from my stash
Ribbon from my stash (the cheap kind, you buy in a roll)
Dazzling Diamond from SU
Lacy Labels Cartridge
House and Merry Christmas stamp from Hero Arts
Colored Pencils
Thanks for stopping by! Dawn

So pretty! That little house is darling - it makes me feel like I could walk up, knock on the door, and ask for some hot chocolate. :) What a great Christmas card. And what a great time spent with your mom. :)

Wow, you really ROCKED this card. It's beautiful. I hope you win at least one of these challenges you've entered. I would pick it for sure!
I know what you mean about the kids growing up too quickly. My oldest daughter is almost 25, my middle daughter just turned 19 (she's the one away at Bible College), and then my baby boy who is 12. It seems like they were born yesterday. Just a whirlwind - TOO FAST for sure. That's why I try to treasure these little memories we have together. THanks for stopping by. Always good to see your smiling face (photo) on my blog and read your sweet and encouraging comments. You are a blessing to me also.
