Hi Dawn! Thanks for your well-wishes. My surgery is this Friday morning. I appreciate your sweet thoughts. About the seam binding, I buy a brand called Hug Snug and I get it on-line at either EBay or an on-line sewing store. Just Google Hug Snug seam binding and you will find it. Comes in a 100 yd roll for about $10. I always buy the white.
