I've been married for 10 wonderful years to my bestfriend, who supports all my hobbies. I've tried alot of crafts over the years, but I think I have my favorites narrowed down to scrapbooking, sewing, and crocheting. I have 3 grown children, 2 boys and 1 girl. My children have blessed me with 8 beautiful grandchildren, 3 boys and 5 girls ranging in age from 4 to 14.
Hi everyone, I made this card for My Craft Spot Challenge-Cute Critter! I think my little frog turned out so cute. He's ready for blogger friends to "jump over to my pad" and check my blog out. Have a blessed day! I'm off to work...
I checked your location from your profile (central Arkansas -- I grew up in north Louisiana...so kinda neighbors!). It's weird you don't have Ross or Marshalls. I hadn't heard of either until I moved to Houston, but they recently opened stores in Monroe, LA (not far from AR). Maybe they will come to your area soon. They are under the same parent company as TJ Maxx and carry a lot of the same items.
About generating traffic to a blog...I was really fortunate. I know Ms. Glenda (http://glendascards.blogspot.com) in real life -- she's a friend of my mom's and was the only person I knew with a Cricut in the beginning -- and she sent a lot of people my way from her DTs. From there, I frequented the same challenges each week. I always visited the other entrants, and if I saw someone's designs I liked (and was a beginner like me) I kept leaving comments and bugging them. :)
One thing I've been kicking around in my head...I'd love to put together a beginners blog hop for us folks who've only had blogs and our Cricuts for 6 months or so. What do you think? My only question is if we could find established blogs to promote it. It seems lots of people get new followers from blog hops and offering blog candy.
